November President's Report

Well its November winter is just around the corner and snow is starting to fall and it is beginning to look like a wonderful season upon us.  We have some great events scheduled.  First is the Warren Miller Film, Face of Winter.  It is a salute to one of the pioneers of extreme winter sports.  For 69 years he has thrilled us with his awesome locations and excellent skiers and boarders.  Come join us Sunday the 4th for a spectacular show at the Circle Cinemas.

The Big Sky trip has sold out, we have a waiting list.  To get your name on the waiting List contact Brett Shelton.  They have been getting dumped on over the past couple weeks.

There is still room on the Steamboat FSA trip.  Steamboat is a super mountain great skiing with plenty of activities to keep you occupied once you get off the mountain. Get with Evan Elsberry if you have questions about the resort or the trip.

The Angel Fire got 6 inches of snow this week with more on its way.   If you are looking for long cruisers that all ages can enjoy Angel Fire is the place.  Night skiing will be open every night we are there and if you need a break from the slopes the have tubing runs for your enjoyment.  Contact Garry if you want more information.

Our final trip of the year is the legendary Taos Trip.  Taos Ski Valley is an awesome mountain with plenty of runs for all skill levels and a great base area.  Don’t miss out on this trip.  It is very affordable and is a mountain that should not be missed.  If you haven’t been there it needs to be on your bucket list.  New Mexico resorts are expected to see above average snowfall this year.  So, conditions should be spectacular.

If you have not decided on a trip yet now is the time to decide.  Once the snow starts falling the quicker the trips fill up.
