We had a great time with 40 friends at the Tenkiller Lake Party. We started the long weekend by loading onto a few tri toon boats and heading to a cove where we could throw out the Lilly pad for swimming and floating. Then we headed to the cliffs where Matt and Stelios were brave enough to dive off the high rocks! That night we started the progressive dinner with appetizers at Dick and Mary Lee’s RV. The Shelton’s, Cooks and Breding’s were on the appetizer/salad/cocktail station too! Next we walked up the hill to the trailer where Lisa & Matt Moss, Cathy Bryant & Bill Wright and Lyn & Norm Wyatt along with Judy Hoffman provided the main dish which was chicken tacos and beef sliders. The last stop was back down at the RV canopies for dessert provided by the Moody’s and Debolt’s. Thank you all for hosting the progressive dinner and making yummy food and drinks. After dinner, we went down to the marina for some karaoke. Our own Michael Messimore was the best act of the night with a little AC/DC- You Shook Me All Night Long.
We headed back out on the boats Sat where a few ski boats joined us so some of our people could try to ski and surf.
Sat night was a good time to chill out and visit under the moon and stars before we headed home Sunday! Ski club people are the most down to earth, wonderful friends. We have lots of fun events and trips planned and we would love for you to join us!!!
