Tulsa Ski club giving back to the community

We are looking for 7 volunteers to serve the Dinner meal at the John 3:16 Homeless shelter on Thursday May 13th from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM.

Here are the details:

1. Park alongside the curb and enter the main door.
2. Best time to arrive to get into your serving positions is 5:15 pm.
3. Receive a brief orientation and then we will start making to-go trays by 5:30 pm.
4. Guest we serve will attend chapel service and then come for the meal.
5. Things that need to be done before dinner: bringing out tables, wiping them down, rolling silverware and getting the serving line set up as well as preparing the drinks.
6. Everyone will be required to wear a mask and wash their hands and put on gloves and aprons.
7. Ladies will need to pull hair off shoulders before serving.
8. Do not touch the serving spoons to the trays, this prevents cross contamination (if someone touches their tray and then server touches serving spoon to tray and it goes back into food it can contaminate the food).
9. Servers will be informed when seconds on the meal can be given. Please stay until the meal is completely served.
10. We will spot sweep and spot mop, as well as wipe down tables and serving line.  

Very Important to Know.

1. As we are serving, please treat each person with dignity and respect-both guests and students
2. We want to make everyone feel welcome and feel Christ’s love as they are with us.
3. No pictures or videos of any of our guests, students, or staff.
4. If someone requests prayer, please have someone cover your station and step out to pray with them- that is more important to the Mission than anything else.  If you feel uncomfortable praying, ask someone to pray with them.
5. We are here to befriend those in the community and share God’s grace, mercy, and salvation with each person we meet.
