We had a great turn out at the March Skiers Night Out SNO. We met at the La Huerta Grill in Broken Arrow. It was a chance to recognize all the Flatland race participants. we could not have won with out all the participants. It was also a time to mingle and get caught up with all our fellow skier's and club members. We would like to thank Ryan Breding and his wife for making the trek up from OKC Club.

Spring is almost here which means ski season is coming to a close. I hope everyone has had a chance to hit the slopes at least once this year. We have had some great trips this year even though the groups have been small. Everyone I talked to seem to have a great time and we still have one club trip left to go.
It is never to early to start thinking about the 25/26 ski season. We will be going to Steamboat Springs in January to defend our FSA Championship. Start saving your pennies now so you help us repeat as champions. If you have any place you would like the club to go next year, please let me know.

Red River/Taos Trip Summary

We just returned from a 3 day ski trip to Red River and Taos, NM. Ten of us including 2 previous and 2 new club members stayed at the Riverside Lodge in Red River. Thanks Brett for the recommendation, it was a great place to stay. Even though the snow wasn’t the best, the mountains staff kept the blue and green groomers well maintained and skiable enough that Jason Schoenhals and Phil Williams were able to close down Taos on the last day. Walter and Arena Foddis joined us for their first trip with the ski club and hopefully will join us again next year. The weather was great, warm with sun shining every day. Janice Hiatt skied at Red River and wore herself out on the first day. Dick Watts managed to get James to try skiing, it didn’t last long before James went back to a snowboard. Even though she doesn’t ski, Mary Watts drove out with Dick and James and enjoyed spending time in Red River shopping and painting. We ate dinner together most evenings
