I will be serving as the Summer Trip VP on the board this fiscal year. My role is to plan small
summer trips this summer 2024 and the big summer trip for 2025. We have fun, warm summer

Tenkiller Lake Trip- June 13-16! Burnt Cabin Marina- RV and Cabins available to reserve on
the Tulsa Ski Club website. We will have so much fun with a progressive dinner, live band and
dancing at the marina, and boating around Tenkiller. The marina is beautiful with a brand-new
indoor restaurant, outdoor dining on the water, great food and drinks, water toys for rent, and

Oregon-Columbia River Gorge Summer Trip- July 16-21, 2024 Kathy Helbert and Linda
Stubbs have been busy planning this fun summer trip! We will have a nice, leisurely hike to
Multnomah Falls, white water rafting, group dinners and much more fun! Come and join us!!

Alaska Cruise- Sea and Land June 2025!! This trip is almost ready for signups. I met with
the travel expert, and we have a great cruise planned with land options before and after the
cruise. We will start in Vancouver and have a package available to visit Butchart Gardens, tour
Vancouver and be transported to the Princess cruise ship to begin the sea portion of the trip.
The cruise will be 7 days where we will have many group activities available including group
dinners, group excursions and other planned activities on the ship. Of course, you can join as
many group activities as you want or have as much alone time with your friends and family. We
just want you to feel included since that is what the ski club is all about. Once the cruise ends,
we will begin the land portion of the trip with two nights at Mt. McKinley and two nights in Denali.
We will offer group activities for the land portion as well or you can do things on your own. The
trip will be set up where you can choose cruise only, Butchart/Vancouver package and cruise,
cruise and land or all three- Butchart/Vancouver, cruise and land trip. It will depend on how
much time you have available and how much you want to spend. We want you to have options.
The deposit to reserve one of our Tulsa Ski Club spots will be $100 and the final balance will not
be due until March 2025! We will have the trip ready for signups soon and then have an Alaska
meeting in a month or so to start planning details.
